We are lucky here. Only about 25 houses burnt in the county I am in. In Oregon,...

Re: Anyone use these drill/tap all in one?

Note that the advertisement states "impact ready", implying using some sort of impact driver. By nature impact drivers tend to slow dramatically with torque change so should work well both for...

Re: Push pedal bell ??

The 1936 Dodge fire engine our department has has just that appliance. Early fire apparatus used a bell and a solid red light for warning. Sirens and flashing lights came later. Likely that what it...

Re: Anyone know what year this is

2020?

Seriously, that looks like a railing to clamp to the side of a running board so you can haul stuff. Aftermarket for the most part. Common in the 1920's.

Re: 39 dlx hood vs 40 std hood interchangeable????

Well yes, kinda, sorta.

The 1939 Deluxe / 1940 standard share the same basic stampings. However there are cutouts on the 1939 hood for the front ornaments. The early 1939 uses a different...

Re: OUT of STOCK '40 parts 01A-8218-B dlx hood

You don't just make 1, you have to step up to 500 to 1000. And you have to seriously look at how many you can sell in a year. With todays market maybe 10 to 20 a year. And costs have gone way up. The...

Re: curve at bottom of '36 rear fender

Two major variables here. The body and the fender. You need to figure out where the problem is body, fender, or both. Looking at the photos I suspect both.

Try to find a known well fitting...

Re: OUT of STOCK '40 parts 01A-8218-B dlx hood

Be aware, there have been numerous comments about marginal fit on both Drakes and Vintiques hood ornaments. Don't rule out spending the $ to find an original, restore it $$ and plate it $$$.

Re: 1938 Deluxe

1938 Coupes and convertibles shared the same body stampings as 1937. There were of course dash, side molding holes (1938 only), garnish molding, and other trim differences. You can bolt a 1937 coupe...

Re: 1936 cabriolet female dove tail latch

What you need is the housing for the female dovetail wedges. These were used on most all body styles except the station wagons and 1935-36 roadster and phaeton. There are at least TWO variations, one...
