Below is my conversation with the customer service rep from Rust911.

I just bought a gallon of your ultra concentrate Rust911. I am going to use it to clean out a 1931 Ford gas tank. The tank had...

Re: Car Will Not Start--No Apparent Spark

Re: 1930 Roadster gas tank removal and install

Thank you for all of the replies! It's strange that the person I spoke with, from Rust 911 customer service, didn't mention any metal cleaner that they sold but told me to buy the Zep.

Re: Engine sits too high for hand crank engagement

Thanks for all of the replies! The car does have the original style front engine mount. I measured the installed spring height of my truck and his roadster and they are very close. < 1/16"difference....

Re: Engine sits too high for hand crank engagement

1930-Pickup, Thanks for your reply. Is there a way to check for this with the car together? On a bare frame I would imagine you can run a straight edge along the top of it to see if it has sagged....

A friend bought a 1930 Roadster that hasn't been started in four years. He tried to insert the hand crank to see if the engine would turn over but the hand crank won't fit into the nut on the front...

Re: Barrett Brake Dokter Drum Lathe information needed

Do any of you with a Drum Dokter have the manual that you would be willing to scan? I have a Model B-500 that I need a manual for.
