engine, tranny and rear end.
When I pull the plugs to check/drain oil, I always get
some 'dust' on the plugs. Not very...

Re: Wheel Puller
I just did the rear brakes on my 30 Cabriolet.
I found a KRW puller at a swap meet several years back
and it worked fine.
I backed the brakes off all the way before using the tool.

I remember Carl's. I was going to Santa Monica City College in the early 60's and passed it every day on Lincoln Blvd. The reason I remember is because I was driving my '29 Roadster PU back and forth...

Re: Mitchell cable control
I like the shift lever because I can shift from 2nd-over to hi direct at the same time with one hand.

Re: Removing fan blade
Maybe now would be a good time to replace the water pump. I had a similar situation when I fixed a blown head gasket. I changed heads to a "Police head", new leakless water pump, and new aluminum...

Re: 30 Hood hinge Riveted bracket
Often overlooked is lubricating the hood hinges. This probably caused the problems.
When working on our clubs As, we often find dry hinges. A couple drops of oil at each location fixes the problem....

Re: Again with 6 to 12 volt inverters
