Thanks Jim and Russ - I have an adaptor hooked up to my shop vac and vented for the dust. It is heavy and not used often but it looks and feels at home with my Model A and parts.

That is likely so - Dan's puller has "Ford A" and "Pat Pend" from what I can see.

This puller was made by "Duro Metal Products Co" Chicago Il.

Patent 1,857,211. Applied for Feb 27 ,1931 and granted May 10,1932

Thanks for the comments so far - the patent numbers are difficult to read - the 8 could be a 3 and the last two 11 could be 77. I checked on a spare axle and hub and the thick lip at the bottom...

Thanks for the reply RonC - the markings on the upper part are indented and the lower ones are raised - see third picture . The Zenith 2 marking is indented with a - between the Zenith and 2

No that is the first thing I checked - all the threads and inside of the casting shows it is clearly brass.

There are also markings on the carb castings C52 on the bottom part and G12 on the Top - any idea what their significance is?

Recently acquired a Zenith 2 side bowl carb . Both the choke driver and side bowl filter housing appear to be made of brass. The existing zenith side bowl carb on my 31 SW has a cast iron filter...
