Once when i sold a car to Europe the bank did not even want to do a wire transfer as they said if the bank on the other end thought any fraud was involved, they could take the money back for x amount...

Its not a big deal to cut the gear off the merc cam and slot it for a crab dizzy. Even a dope like me can do it !

Rubber line from fuel line to fuel pump cracked in only 2 years for me. I usually buy from C&G, cant say for sure on this item, usually C&G has been good to me. Where to buy a good one ?

If you are doing a fancy car, lots of folks use a stainless rod thru the piano hinge so no rust from a steel rod bleeds thru on your nice paint

A tapered bushing would be a very rare application, not on your ford! Its another example of todays parts that dont fit. Take it to a machine shop and have them ream it to size. should be cheap and...

Agree with JM35, or if the tank is out and you have some skill with a drill you can drill it to the bare minimum of plug left , and remove the last bits with a pick. Then I replace it with a hex head...

Like Lawson said, no heat as the threaded boss in riveted on, and soldered to seal. heat, and solder runs out onto floor. dont ask how I know that !
