Correct - except the screws also attach the windshield frame and once installed are unseen, out of sight therefore using a Phillips head + drill sure makes it a lot easier.

You've ask a good question. I use a pair of 5" accessory fog lights mounted on the front bumper as both daylight driving lights AND for turn signal lights. I suspect they are not considered...

I just replaced the front motor mount that had "just the washer" installed, and the center bolt was about worn in half. The washer did not appear to do the job that the new brass bushing I used to...
