Thanks. I wondered how they stayed together. The repo dash light dimmer switch has brass inserts. Bullet ends don't fit in.

Back at it.
It seems to me someone had a diagram of how the latch goes together. I've looked in my threads and don't see it. Bruce is coming by tomorrow to give assembly as try.

You are getting first class advice! Join the local eV-8 club and ask for help in inspecting it and starting it .Don't be in a hurry to take apart stuff.

The rheostat has a coil of wire and a wiper. Reproes are available from Carpenter.
