Borrowed some aircraft scales and did the deed today. For the record, my truck weighed 2640 lbs. It has a 302 and C-4 with an 8" rear. Weight bias is 51% on the front and 49% on the rear. That...

I received a call back from MT this morning and the answer directly from the horses mouth is Speedway sells MT backing plates but not their hubs and drums.
I'm not making any judgement on...

Does anyone have first hand experience with the bendix style front brakes from Speedway for a '40 Ford? I see they're a dealer for MT Products but their lower prices make me wonder if they might be...

Bolts typically have torque values of 60 to 80 percent of their yield values. With that in mind and assuming your bolts were in good condition and your torque wrench was calibrated, I wouldn't worry...
