i dont think there is a modern engine without counter wieghts. you are not correct in your thinking that a lightened flywheel will be better, easy on things.

wood body blocks
does anyone have a link or a pic they can post of the position of the wood body mounting blocks for a 30-31 coup? none of my books show anything.

looks really good after I got it home today and washed all the mud grass and tree roots out of it. doors are 27-1/2" wide so it was a coup there isn't even to many holes to weld up. bottoms...

the correct B gasget does not cover the steam holes in the B block
I just did this aswell, and I did use the one sniders recommends. however knowin peoples are having them blow I liberally...

I like it in my AT and that's about all. some good 2 cycle oil in the fuel will do way more good for loosening up sticky valves
