Well an update. I started by running vinegar in the system after removing the coolant. I figure a few days would help with cleaning.
Then a flushed and removed the thermostat. And added water...

To removed the rear view mirror you have to remove the trim around it, so the sun visors and the long trim between the mirrro and the sunvisor

Concours parts- said no longer made. Prob the same one from Southwest Tbird.
, if you go on google you see a lot 57 Chevy and custom cut to fit stuff.
I think I need to compare 1966 Fairlane...

Fan Shroud 1957-1959 Ford Big car
The only place I knew had them no longer make them (Southwest T-Bird) and the new guys making (Birds Nest T-Bird) them dont start until fall, is there other makes of a fan shroud for a stock 1957...

I know, people rave about the electric steering. One thing to note is that you should still rebuild and redo alll the rest of the steering below that. Otherwise it will just be sloppy electric...

I believe the R& P setups were Wurthit designs, I dont think its in business anymore, also I dont think they really got a good wrap.
Currently everyone seems to be using the Bergeson 605 style...

I don't think fuses care as long as you don't short them out.
The only thing I can think of is LED that have polarity. Even then they are making them go either way.

you can use your old sender if you are using your old guage (matched), you just need to add the voltage reducer to the rear of your instrument panel, which I believe most ford do already its a little...
