Does the bell of the torque tube rest against the inner u joint cover? I would think theres some space for movement.

I still like the 37% overdrive t170 with the close drive setup. Itís a good match behind a Flathead. The shifter position is closer to stock then a t-5. If that matters to some. You have to find the...

Re: adjustable lifters

Red’s headers sells the adjustable hollow lifters. I’ve spoken to quite a few Flathead guys that use them. I haven’t heard anything negative like the lifters loosening up.
