Looks good.
I installed 3:54 gears in my 40. Dad did the A and regretted not regearing to 3:54.

My uncle was pulling a gear off a tapered shaft. When it let go, it flew across the room and hit me in the mouth. Broke my two front teeth.

Here in Montana the antique/pioneer plates limit use to parades and car shows. I like to take to church on Sundays or out to dinner now and them so I went for regular plates on both my vintage cars.

You can get the hose, fittings, and ends at any hydraulic supply, farm implement dealer, or large truck service center.

The original fitting was actually a hose end that was crimped to the hose.
My solution was a hydraulic adapter but brace yourself. Hydraulic fittings/hoses/adapters are not cheap....

I used the original bolt. I could not find an original style return hose so I had to come up with something that would work as a replacement.

Original had lever shocks.
There are tube shock kits available but I'm not very interested in modern stuff.
