Transferring hole patterns

Made a video on lifting a hole pattern and transferring it. Like for a windshield wiper, or a door hinge.

At this stage, I would make a pattern from a tracing to get accurate placement. Figure out how to index it because you will be fitting it a few times. Looks like fun.

The package came. The contact phone number on the shipping label was incorrect area code. But I now have it and the replacement shipment was caught before it was shipped so we are Even Steven....

Have used some full dilution gallon size other brand stuff and have had good results.
Beats the wire wheel. I try to clean off any petroleum residue first with a degreaser.

I made an order for rust converter from the supplier early last week. Had not showed up so I called the company back yesterday.
The owner spent time tracking with the carrier and the order is lost....

are your garnish mouldings reproductions? That might be a problem. Look for an original piece to test fit.

Good turnout imho, and the coast weather was a relief from the valley heat.
The overcast burned off about noonish.
Went to Guadalupe for an excellent Mexican dinner Friday night.

Bend top tab to install, then snug to fit. Doing a 34 ccpu with similiar channels I think.
Also read where pop rivets have been used.

When the starter switch wears out the paper fiber insulator on the end of the starter rod the bronze contact will jam against the copper terminal on the starter and short out.
