I first sanded my new balls with 220 grit sandpaper and then 500 grit. After that I polished them on my buffer with emery. They came out looking like chrome. My teflon seats should last for ever.

Tom is correct. Regardless of polarity wiring, the armature will always spin in the same direction.

Randy is excellent to talk to. I have his f100 and although the steering is a little easier than the stock box, I find that it has more free play. Maybe mine needs a little tightening adjusting.

If the taper is what only holds the grip then why is there a key in there anyway? No reason for hub to axle location orientation.

The corn head grease should be used in the universal joint housing for the u-joint. Not in the rear end, use 600wt. What do trains have to do with Model A's?

I think I remember reading that if the front spring is sagging a lot, it will throw off the castor and make for hard steering. Is there any truth with this?

Speedo won't need calibration with the F150 overdrive because the speedometer is driven off the drive shaft. A change in rear end ratio would require a calibration change.
