if you remove the hood on a 40 do not touch the bolts that hold the hinge to the car just remove the link bolts. ps the repro hinges are junk

the drum is behind the hub removing the screws will not help help. there is onley one puller for the ford . KR WILSON. by one there expensive but they work the other ones you see dont come close....

my 35 ford the wiper motor shaft goes through the roof & is held in place by a tapered crome fitting & nut. a tapered sleave spacer goes on the shaft of the wiper motor

wonder why there are are chevy eng. in the old fords. simple there a lot cheaper. run great & don't over heat in traffic. 7 grand to rebuild a flathead is a lot of money . good luck finding one...

sounds like the clutch disk is frozen to the fly wheel.ore the trans shaft or pilot bearing remove the oil pan then loosen the pressure plate bolts. if still stuck drive a wedge between the disk &...

today most clutches come from chana .what we do is send the clutch assembly to fort wayne. have them rebuild it i know that they sell the chana stuff so thats why i have them rebuild the one i send...

you did not say front or rear drum you can band the drum its no big deal to have machine shop make them. they mike the drum od & make the band a few thousands smaller then you heat it a& drop it...
