Do not be tempted to move the w/p pulleys....they are more fragile than you'd
guess. Have you tried the gen yet to see if it's pulley lines up with the pumps ?

I run an 8BA in my '32 p'up with those pumps with no alignment issues. My crank pulley
is the sheet metal design ,the spiral is part of the neck. I use a single wire alt vs gen,
with a fan mount...

shroud ( black plastic...you cut the fan hole ) and fan entered entered quite nicely.

1 11/32 is good w/o gasket. I would add a gasket under the brass seat then readjust
the tab on the float....it will be a flatter contact.
