Re: crash

NUMBER ONE. Hopefully everyone involved not injured.

I am working on making the 1937 cabriolet top iron latch. I received a request from a person with a 1935 cabriolet which has a similar latch. The parts books I have are sketchy and confusing as to...

Re: 32 vs 30-31 radiator different

The mounting brackets to the frame are slightly lower than 1932, the A radiator will sit about 1/2" too high on the 32 frame. Also as noted the fill neck and hinge mount. Otherwise you should be good...

Re: 1939 Ford Deluxe hood hinge mounts

you could use a 5/16 - 18 tee nut, that will have the correct barrel size for the hinge. The only issue then (if it matters) is the bolt is oversize from true original.

Re: '39 - '40 hood comparison

The shape of the stampings of the 1939 Deluxe and 1940 Standard are the same. The front of the 1939 Deluxe has cut-outs for trim mounting that the 1940 Standard does not, and of course the large trim...

Re: 1935 - 1936 Pickup Taillight Brackets

The brackets on the left were generally used on 1929-1934 pickup beds. It is quite conceivable that there was some carryover into early 1935 but that would take careful (Don Rodgers???) reading of...

Re: 1932 Ford rumble lid

The lid orientation does not change (the top stays the top, bottom the bottom). You may need to cut holes and slots for the outside handle style trunk latch and handle, drill and install nut inserts...

Front fenders 1935 1/2 ton directly interchange with 1936-37 1/2 ton.
The difference is 1935 has a hole for the bumper arms, the 1936-37 have a slot.
Front fenders 1935-37 1/2 ton and 1-1/2...
