Just to give an update. Pictures of assembly and installed. I love it one hand steering in tight spots.
No interference with clutch or brake.

I got good advice from Barm member Tom (Angledrive) and I am going with a kit from epowersteering.com. Good advice and reasonable price. I will in time let you know how it works.

Electric steering
I know better to post this on Hamb but I spend more time here on the Barn. I have joint problems and finding its harder and harder to steer my 38 5 window. Anyone gone this way? Thanks Pete

Windshield glass removal 39 coupe
Cracked windshield in my 39. PO set glass in with looks like black silicone. Do I break the glass and pull the glass pieces out? Or is there trick? I have the windshield out of the car.

New flywheel and pressure plate balanced by local driveline shop $50 bucks. You can see the added weight to the pressure plate. Goiing into my 38 with T5 and hydraulic throwout.

I wanted a dark blue and found ISUSU Cavalier Blue 1988 . I like it no purple hue almost black in the shade. It's a full acrylic enamel. I have seen many versions of Washington Blue.

My 38 Standard came with the window tag and some original coupons. As part of my rebuild I put in all new glass so the tag is gone. All most done with my project and will post some finished pics...

Based on the grill and front of the car it is a Standard. I don't know the history of this car. I did think the steering wheel looked like a top of the line version.
