I have been searching the forum for info on how to repair a loose outside rearview mirror on my 1930 CCPU? Not sure how one tightens the 'grip on the ball'?

Try a mixture of glycerin and gren soap. You can get this at a drugstore (Walgreens). This works well on weatherstripping also.

I am getting the idea peedo cables are a pain in the butt. My 1930 pickup, cable keeps slipping down and comes out of the speedo instrument end. Seems like the sheath is too long. Bill in Fresno,...
