Thank you for the input. The carb is later than the engine and is properly fitted; however, the float height is definitely going to be something I check another time.

I am using this carb on a stock 1937 flathead 85 horse. Rebuilt the carb and replaced all gaskets, power value (7.5), new holley jets. (.51), and accelerator pump. The carb performs well but leaks...

Oil specifications 37 flathead
Have a stock 1937 ford flathead with the cast iron heads. It runs pretty good for setting for twenty years but the oil is black as night. I would like to know what oil or oil additive will work...

amps at points 37 ford flathead
New to the site. Trying to locate the number of amps acceptable for the points in a factory distributor with a 6 volt positive ground. 85 horse flathead.
