Mine came with what I call glass packs, not ID on them. I'll see how they sound first. Well first will be starting the rebuilt engine with no mufflers.

Don't think so but keeping ground wires short is a rule of thumb. I've grounded other lights and the sending unit and attached wires to the frame as close as convenient.

With the dash out and a car specific harness the job is much easier. You can see much of what you are doing under the dash out in the open.

Here's the card of the shop the car seller gave me. He was near Sacramento and was a car guy. Probably one of the swap me shops that brings your parts to LA then Mexico.
