Radiator shroud emblem removal
Stupid question but how do I remove the emblem on the shroud?
I want to try and keep it intact and re-install after I clean it up....

The red wire from the ignition switch to the positive side of the coil was blowing the fuses. Can’t say I’m the best electrician but I’m learning....

Ok so I didn’t mention that I converted in to electronic ignition, but I did keep the manual spark adjustment. The car is running now. I guess when converting to electronic ignition you literally...

Getting plenty of gas! It’s leaking out of the intake so the float needs some attention for sure. It was running in the driveway the other day after a 30 minute drive and just shut off, like someone...

Engine not starting.
Would a bad cutout switch keep the engine from starting?
And I have not referenced my book yet but how do you check them for good or bad?

I’m chasing this same thing on my car right now...
Drove it about 5 miles last night, drove into the yard, let it idle for about 1 minute and it quickly shut off as I walked away and I knew it...

Side note... I put a dab of dielectric grease on my choke rod threads and it works MUCH better now. Doesn’t help your problem but I thought I’d add the info.

Thank you for the wise words. And I did know that it would not produce a hotter spark just because I install this. They do make a hotter coil that go along with the modern distributor As you all know...

I bought mine from James. The HD pump (high dollar) it’s supposed to be leakless and maintenance free.
I called a few guys I know that had the same one and they’ve been running them for 15-20 plus...
