Re: Leakless water pump weep hole
I recently bought a new water pump from Snyder's. I compared it to the one purchased from mac's. The quality of the Snyder's pump was far superior to the Chinese pump.
Installed on car and no...

Leakless water pump weep hole
I installed a "leakless" water pump on my '30 Coupe. It has less than two hours running time on it and leaks from a weep hole located on the mounting flange.
Anyone else experience this?

30 Coupe running too rich
I have a rebuilt carb on my car and I'm running much too rich.
I get nothing from either adjustment.
Timing checks out okay and consistent.

Re: using a 12 volt system with the 6 volt horn
Thanks for all of the advise. I believe I may have a bad resistor. The horn operates as it should connected to a 6v battery.

Re: using a 12 volt system with the 6 volt horn
I saw the same in the ford mechanics handbook. The resister I have is called the "restorer" and when hooking it to the circuit, my horn just moans once. It does the same when hooked to a 12v power...
