Welcome to Ford Barn! The Town Cars were the top Model A's of the era. Many of its parts were only used on these cars. If you can post some photos. We would live to see it.

What I have found is one reason they leak is because the metal is thinner and it warps a lot easier.

After researching what you said, I just finished ordering PN35960 from Brattons. According to their description (dimension) should fit perfect in the opening for the rear...

If it is original it looks GREAT, if repo, a great reproduction. I purchased one recently in Michigan and it is in aluminum, but very close to original. I am trying to find out how it was...
