Looking for a set of '29 Closed Cab Pickup ('28 - M30) seat springs to pick up at Hershey. Already upholstered (black) would be preferable but bare springs would work, too. My truck is a driver so...

Re: Alexander Is At The Early Ford V-8 Museum In Auburn, Indiana

Understood. That was the context of the situation above and that is what I wanted to clear up.

Re: Alexander Is At The Early Ford V-8 Museum In Auburn, Indiana

In this instance, said "armchair expert" is a respected individual with decades of hands-on Early Ford experience, an encyclopedic knowledge of the subject matter, and an actual car owner -- not some...

Re: Model A transport

Add my vote for Bill's Auto Works. I've used him, approve of him, and recommend him to others.

Re: '36 Radiator - looking for shop suggesting in South-Central PA or source for new

Thanks for the input. I'm glad to hear the consistent praise for Brassworks. I'd like my thread to run a little longer hoping someone will have a shop in South-Central, PA (northern Maryland...

'36 Radiator - looking for shop suggesting in South-Central PA or source for new unit

(Ugh, I see I botched my title and can't edit it. Obviously, that should be "shop suggestions". Hate when that happens!)

Title says it all. I have a solid original unit that needs to be recored...

WTB: 21-stud, correct, 1936 engine, running.

Looking for a decent running 1936 engine. If I can hear it run or you have good video of it before it was taken out of service, all the better. Recipient-car is an unrestored original, seldom used,...

Re: Painting wheels-a simple idea from a simpleton

I built my wheel spinner from an old engine stand. At first it was powered by a small gear reduction motor, but after it burned up and I needed to use it for a job, I found that I liked it better...

Re: hard starting cold

Check the internal clutch adjustment. There are three fingers on the clutch drum, each with an adjusting screw, and these often get neglected. All the external and band adjustments in the world...

Photograph wanted of how dipped fenders were hung

There has to be one out there and I can't find it. When Model A front fenders were painted at the factory, they were dipped and hung. I'd like to see how they had them oriented when hanging. If...
