My go to degreaser is a commercial citrus degreaser called de-zov all. It’s expensive, but works. The others I have tried just move it around. Spray, let soak, then hit with a good low pressure power...

Those transmissions with a coat of black bill hirsch engine enamel with the case bolts cad plated always makes me smile and looks great! How original that is, I don’t know!

Our 52 is still 6 volt and very reliable. New wiring, all electrical components restored, and really good grounding. I honestly don’t think 12v would improve anything on our old truck.

Brakes and tires are important safety features, I would get the opinion of a reputable tire shop on mounting trailer tires on your classic vehicle.

I have heard from a good source that the five rib champions are correct for the f1’s. I have a set of both 2 rib and 5 rib. I never understood why that really mattered, as the spark plug wire boot...

I bought a few cans of the black a few weeks ago. Sprays out ok, but then is really tacky for several days. The enamel out of the can cures much faster.
