Re: 1932 Ford Hudson steering box

The 37 Hudson steering box was only used in 37. The 47 Chevy pick up box was used thru 64 I think. It is basically the same as a 64 Impala box. It is recirculating like a Vega but many times stronger...

33-3? Heavy duty oil bath air filter

Barn find type head mounted oil bath air filter. It has the original dirt! Looks to have pretty good original paint under the dirt. It is missing the two wing nuts and the hose is stiff and missing...

Re: From bad to worse

You can check low voltage resistance from the terminal on top to the spring contact on the bottom. It should be low ohms. Like 2-3. The high voltage windings are high ohms. It should be 10000 ohms or...

Re: 1934 steering column tube re-install

I would drill and tap the lock retaining pin and remove the lock. The lock has a code on the side and a locksmith can make a key from the code. He would not even need the lock
This is assuming the...

Re: 32 ford ooga horn

I looked into it a really long time ago. I think the solution was to move the mounting holes so the brushes were vertical. I am not at all sure that was the solution or the only problem.

Re: Brake drums

I don’t think the Speedway drums will work. The amount of flange outside the studs is less than Ford used. Stock Ford wheels will not have outside support.Compare the flange on the drum to the flange...
