I changed my stock tail lights to L.E.D. a few years back, made them a lot brighter. Got them from Mike's ( complete with stainless housing} and mine is 6 volts....

I don't use copper carb intake gaskets, had them bind and caused mounting ear on carb to crack...

Check prop rod brackets, mine was loose causing a rattle. Added washers so they would not bend in, found out about possible rattle problem here on ford barn....

Another thing that causes it to leak if you over fill the transmission. I did that but only once...

Try to keep mine half way between top mark and bottom one on dip stick. Still leaks but only a little...

You plugs don't look too bad, I run w-18 champions a little hotter plug but still have black soot. A lot of stop, go and idle driving here...

I have two Model A Zenith carbs for rebuilds, one has striped threads (will not tighten) and the other someone has tapped and threaded the inlet too large, these are both on the gas inlet threads,...
