Re: Model 40 Door adjustment

Your hinges are bent .
The part that bolts to the body should be straight .
Your second pic shows both body and door segments badly bent .

The hinge in my pics is how they should look .

Re: Model 40 Door adjustment

Does your lower hinge look like this ? This one is not sprung like many . Post pics of yours as this is the main cause of your issue .

Re: 1932 3W parked in 1952

Having owned a frame rack for 24 years you learn how to look at damage .
Look at the door gaps .
The cowl is rolled back with the belt line of the cowl well behind the front lip of the door .

Re: 34 Roadster - Brakes Shuddering

Very good point .
I have had success with this by cleaning shoes-drums with brake cleen and lightly sanding the shoes . Just to de-glaze them .

The zerks on the rear axle ends can be a major...

Thumbs up Re: Roadster Windshield Pivots Not Holding.

Looks to me you spring loaded side felt is still there . These are NOTHING like other 34's . These are to help keep dirt out and lube in the rollers .

Re: 1934 Tudor needs a little hop-up

Unless you have a very strong engine don't go more than 3.54 on the rear gear .
They get pretty doggy with a 3.25 rear gear .

Stock wheels on 33-34 cars are indeed 17 " .

Re: lowest oil pressure for engine to survive

Not really an answer to your question but those readings are quite good for a used 33-34 motor . NO CAM BEARINGS 32-34 and that does not help oil pressure .
