• Rebuilt engine (by Schwalm’s Babbitted Bearings Inc.)

Got it all hooked up and it works beautifully. Very happy with the kinder/gentler engagement of the starter gear with the ring gear. Thanks to all.

I do not know for sure if the unit has a starter solenoid in it. Similar starters that I see on the web do. This one is distributed by (built by?) Wosp.

Stock vs Repro 21" Wheels

Can someone tell me how to identify a stock vs reproduction 21" spoke wheel? The welds on mine have sharp/pointy irregular shapes to them (ouch!). Is that normal?

Question Front end Rebuild?

My brake actuating arms have more play in their joints with the king pin, maybe 1/16" to 1/8" wiggle, than I would have have expected. But I don't know what is normal.
