Re: Hershey Rain Score: 1937 Ford V8-60 sedan
You'd have to change quite a bit. The radiators are different. The adapter to the front cross member would have to be removed to accept the 85 hp engine. The 60 hp transmission is small and would...

Re: Hershey Rain Score: 1937 Ford V8-60 sedan
The car serial number is stamped on the left frame rail by the steering box. The frame number on the 60 hp cars starts out 54-xxxxx. The number was also on the top center of the transmission bell...

Re: V8 60 king pin lock bolts
Here is proof that not all 60 hp cars had the tube. My mid-'37 60 hp sedan has the I-beam.

Re: Saved Another One: 1928 AA
The firemen at the show with a freshly restored '25 LaFrance fire truck really liked it. I am going to build a small Richfield station at my house to house the truck and some of my petrolia. I have...

Re: Saved Another One: 1928 AA
I am going to fab up some rear fenders soon. Probably will go from running board up to just over center of tires to keep most of the mud in check.

Re: Parts prices are killing our hobby
I agree. In my car club of over 140 people I am the third youngest at 38 yrs old. Most of the guys are 55 to 80. Same thing when I go to cruise nights. I'm the youngest guy there 99% of the time...

Re: Source for 6.00x16 bias ply tires
I wouldn't trust any foreign tires on an old lawn cart much less on my valuable old cars. Go with one of the American companies that make them in the USA.

After cleaning the cowl tank and installing a new fuel bowl I was able to run down the road and shoot some outside shots.

Re: Are all A frames the same?
Figured it out. The frame I have with no RH hole is a Feb 1930 frame. Hole was removed January 1930. Makes sense now. Thanks to Steve Plucker The Frame - Evolution of the Model A Frame
for the info.

I was surprised that I have frames with both RH steering hole and one without. Most I have seen have steering box hole on both sides?
