Basic Question-Jumper machine

When putting the jumper machine on to get rig started, is the red for to the ground and black go to the starter????? Haven't had to do this for awhile and forgot.

Sometimes if you have the tube out, you can blow it up quite a bit, wet it down and you can hear where the leak is.

Get a good sealer from one of the good vendors. It works, done it in both of my A's and have had no problem.

Buy another used carb on line and rebuild it. May sole the problem and give you experience in the rebuild process. Buy new parts to put in for the rebuild.

I do the same. Use a small drill smaller than rivet to start and then expand to a bigger one but not to big. Then punch out.
