FILL the U joint with at last a tube of high drop or drip point
grease. This stays stiff to make a seal and softens up as the
temperature from transmission heats up. G.M.

with vent holes. This box can also be mounted on the frame

Skip Makes new impellers for the 32 to 36 pumps. They are a little
larger in diameter, The fins are longer. The pump has to be bored
out a little which gives more coolant flow. G.M.

Search back in this forum, I put a detailed method
for testing condensers. Almost all of them test good
cold but need to be heated to over 200 degrees, hot

GM alternators work great. Just have a 24 volt stator
installed and it will charge at idle with a small stock

You have to be careful shorting out the contact tip of
a MIG welder. When shorted the amps go way up. How
high depends on the out put range the machine is set
at. This can burn out the transformer...

from heat. When Skip does a coil for some one he
asks them to send condensers so he can heat them
up to hot test them. They work cold but...

Try a bottle of Purple Ice. This coats the inside surfaces
of the block and heads and transfers the heat into the

Do you really think you have a good one now?? If it
is a stock Ford coil new or old it will still fail on a hot
day in traffic when the engine gets hot. I have tested
hundreds of stock Ford coils...
