Radiator is clean, it has a more modern remote mounted coil and runs perfectly cool on the road so it seems to be an airflow issue at idle. If anyone has specific fans that help that would be good,...

Fan removal- stock '40
Hi, was planning to remove the fan without removing the radiator to fit a plastic shroud on my stock '40 to help with air flow at idle. Removed the four 1/2" socket short bolts with lock washers...

The bolt fits perfectly- thanks for your help! Will get moving on finishing the install, and post some pics when done- hope to make it as clean a setup as possible.
