timing change

hi guys
looking for some help
I have a 48 flathead. I want to advance the timing. the distributor is in the front between the water pumps . is the any way of turning the distributor

I am trying to put the shifter lever back in the trany box of my 239 flathead and I can't get the lever to lock in with out being able to twist.
dose anyone have a diagram of how it fits

I have a1950 f1 that needs to have a windshield put in . can you tell me what the 4 metal tabs are for, and are they going to interfere with the installation

door hinge pins

hi guy
i need to take out the hinge pins on my 50 f1 pickup. dose anyone know of an easy way to take them out , or do i have to drill them out

Don , i made a set of wire loom like Richard. I used aluminum tubing and buffedit on a buffing wheel. it came out looking like chrome. I got the tubing from McMaster-Carr.com and the aluminum...

i have a 1950 f1 conventional style pickup .dose anybody know what holes the radiator bracket gose in?
on the cross piece there looks like two sets of holes, one is in the front of the bracket and...

thanks george allready though of that . if i don,t have the plugs in the carnk is not as hard so i think it is in the piston rings
