I saw a Craigslist ad a while back that had a set of rims for a 30-31 with about the same price as these. Guy said he found some reproductions from one of the vendors and based his price on those....

Back about 50 years back I had a similar knock--constant. Turned out a chunk came off the timing gear. It sounded just like a rod knock but was consant.

Back in 64, when I got my 30 Coupe, it had bad piston slap so started adding STP. The stuff is so thick it would not pour well. Some where along the line I stuck the can between the exhaust header...

You should check to see if your frame is square. If sometime in history there was a front impact the front frame horns could be bent or the frame out of square. Lots of years and lots of wear
