Yes ,suicide knob , my 28 special coupe came with one, took it off, didn't like it and the impression is still in the original red steering wheel. Think about it before mounting it . Will not...

Ed, there are wood that gets mounted on the metal seat, the material gets tacked to it, Terry's profile might help, sorry no pics,just directions from LB and you can you tube it!

Fyi, i also installed a new filter and shut off valve and my car ran then shut off, took the fiter off, but kept the valve on. The car was starving for gas, the reason is the filter hole is...

There was three different types, but yes all steel with wood to tack the seat material to. Near the top the piece of wood is there to attach a pouch from the other side of the seat.

My horn on my 28 special coupe did the same thing its shorting out on the horn part , its a very small fiber or insulated washer , on the u shape part that holds the carbon thing with the scree....

I once used a grocery cart found abandon, I misstated cut off the basket, the four tubes holding the basket holds the engine upright, the front wheels swivel.

31 S/W Town Sedan since 1986 , 28 Special Coupe since 1993. Both still sitting in the garage. No space and not enough time work on them. The pics of them in my album.

Steve, Doug site is excellent I too have a 31S/W Town sedan. And the front seat assemble is all metal with wood racking strips to attach the fabric to. Came to a halt half way threw it not done...
