There is a little ridge on the shaft. You hope fully can see some uneven wear on that part of the shaft. Just thought I would let you know about this.

One item that comes to mind is the body side moulding on the early '47 are like the '46 and is ribbed. After that they are smooth like the '48.

I used a male and female heim joint with a jam nut. As far a mounting, I think I tapped the mounts for the 3/8 bolt. I really can't remember, and age thing, because I finished that over 15 years ago....

My '48 coupe has the set that appears to be in primer on the second row. Bolts to existing holes. I have a dropped axle in my car from Magnum axle and it has the hole in the axle for the lower shock...
