Our strictly strip flathead hit 6,000 on a good day, but made me nervous. 350hp at 10,000rpm ain't gonna happen with that engine.

"Right" is a sliding scale. Ford used 45º valves on both the intake and exhaust. Hot rodders discovered that you could get a bit more flow out of a 30º valve face angle on the intake. The 45º valves...

When I actually had a running flathead, feeler gauge except the Malory RevPol, which needed a distributor machine and I didn't have one.

No footprints.

Came home in a '37 Ford Tudor.
