If that's the swap that utilizes a AA bell housing ( 6 bolt and 1 inch shorter than a car bell housing )

If thats the case how hard do you have to push could be sticking or does your float ....float... or can you here swooshing inside ...it might be sinking those are the only two things that can be...

I would have to agree with Tom,If its turning more to one side or another chances are its an issue with the front end geometry.....weather its off or you have something bent

I made all my exhaust and put the pipe up inside ..still had a whisper of a leak and cut down a peice of muffler wrap and put in flange quiet as a mouse now

I got a switch for a ford 8n tractor and except for having to unsolder the wires on it and drill and thread the holes to accept oem tabs on harness its nice and short and the nut to tighten it is on...

you need to cut the float down to fit ....Then I made a cage of light wire to insure the float and clip stays on

:cool:OL yeller ...I would just get the car and build it then ...check with dmv they might want you to do a pencil rub over ID # on frame and body and have a pic of it too..document anything you can...

If the vertical part your talking about is the front door jamb and windshield post then yes it bolts on ...the gas tank is bolted to the cowl and the whole works is bolted to the post

The parts them selves in a form other than a car has now ownership value ..all states are different but you need a "car" to title whether bonded,rebuilt new construction, you buy a title or find...

I agree blast the inside and paint with POR-15 then use comet to clean the yellow ....Its your car and if you want to preserve it how it is, go for it...the outside can be done later if you...
