Just got a complete leakless water pump kit from Mac's auto parts and the impeller is larger than the shaft that is to be pressed on 8 3/8 inches from the front of the shaft. Called Mac and was told...

Hello,
Does anyone know if a flat head v8 is a direct fit replacement on a 29 model a truck. Will it bolt on to the bell housing and transmission?
