Snyders sells a full flow oil filter kit part# A-6705-F, which replaces the original valve cover. Im sure others carry it also.

I used K-seal with good results. It is copper based which gives it a good heat transfer and it does not clog the system. It is designed to stay in the system.

Could be the flashing unit. I had one that did not operate the indicater so I got another one same part number different manufacturer and that one worked. Both arer three pronged.

When only the front or rear brakes are connected maybe you are getting full travel of the rods. Combined the might be preventing full travel. I would check the rod length adjustments.
