Having read a few bios of Henry Ford, it's clear he was a birdwatcher. Not too surprising that he would suggest the quail.

Sorry to be a party-pooper...have to agree with Vic.
Most trusses are not designed to be loaded from the bottom chord. Check to see if they are attic trusses, which are.
We would hate to see...

Just wanted to say "hi."
New to the forum. Inherited our 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Fordor/Murray in 2004...had it in storage until this year.
On the road now...lot of fun.
