In the early 1960's when I first started working on trucks I did not have an impact wrench, so I bought slugging wrenches for the nuts. I still have them somewhere.

If you are good you might straighten it yourself with two knife edged vee stands and a torch. other wise take it to a machine shop with a long lathe.

Industrial painting companies used wet blasting when the AQMD squalked about dust.
After a while they went back to the dry sand.

My auto shop instructor, said 60 years ago. a little permatex on the removable part only, to hold the gasket during assembly. Makes life easier when you next work on it.

I have made good gaskets from the sleeve Victor head gaskets came in. Good clean mating surfaces is the key.
