Took the genny off my other car which I hate to do, but phaeton runs well and no blowing fuses..it’s the old style cutout which had continuity until I dropped the darn thing.
Getting old is no...

Thanks everyone for the help and ideas,Did all th checks all look good,I bypassed the generator lights and horn working as they should no blown fuse.cut out has continuity so must be in the generator...

No luck yet thanks for the info can’t figure out
Why it ran perfect for 10 min then popped the fuse
Thought maybe generator heated up and shorted..
We’ll see

Fuse blowing
Hi
Hooked up new wiring,lights and horn worked
properly,fired the old girl up ran for 10 minutes while I checked exhaust leaks etc.suddenly shut off thought maybe no fuel nope lots of fuel....

29 standard phaeton belt rails
Hi All,
Got new belt tack rails,
One is 4” shorter than the other.
Is there a reason for this?
Where does the short one go front or back?

lowering front end
Hi All'
Which reversed eye spring length will give a lower stance29 or 30" all stock
car ,put a 30" in my pickup which seems to be lower than the 29" I put in my Phaeton.

Sleeve bearing for spring shackles
Hi Guys and Girls,
The bearing sleeves for the spring perch won’t go in .
They seem to be a smaller hole.
I drive the old ones out and they seemed smaller.
Was there different perch sizes?

Howells fordor sheet metal
Hi All,
Bought some parts from Howells,funds were taken on Jan 20th,
got an invoice but no parts or communication so far.
Left messages,sent email etc no response.
Now phone is always busy....
