The one you have will work on a T or A block only, I got one of those. I still have the one for a V8 I got from Stumphys, not sure if they are still in production or available.

Let me also add that checking the compression on each cylinder and pulling the side inspection plate is a must, if you got any sticking valves that will raise hell with being able to properly pull...

Seth try Simichrome polish, I use it on the nickle coatings on the T and various chrome on other vehicles.
