47 Ford Trunk emblem

Looking for a picture of what an original trunk emblem mounting stud/bolt assembly looks like. Mine has been repaired with epoxy holding the studs/bolt & broke. Trunk has 3 holes for 3 mounting bolts...

Vic .... do you have a side view picture of your 47 convertible to see the new stance. Are you still using the stock front axle. What were the Posie part numbers for the springs you used .... Thanks

Thanks Kahuna & Ol'Ron ..... should I have block off plates installed between the intake & outer carb mounting bases or run without the block off plates.

When I got my 47 , it had the SU359 intake installed on the motor with only the center carb operating. The 2 outer carbs are there but only for show. It has been suggested to me that not using all...

how much space do you have between the floor & the top of the overdrive unit?
Do you know if the floor in your car above the overdrive unit is different then the 47 convertible floor pan?

When I fold the power convertible top down on my 47 it does not seem to go down far enough to be able to put the top boot on. Is there an instruction that shows how it should be done as it may be...

My 47 has a 4.11 rear gear and is basically a 50-55 mph car. I have considered the 3.54 rear gear as an option , but the mitchell overdrive seems like a interesting solution to easily obtain a 65 mph...

I am thinking about installing a mitchell overdrive unit in a 46 - 48 ford convertible. Does anyone have experience with this, installation tips, pictures of installation , was it worth the effort....
