Re: '38 deluxe bumpers, arms, guards?

'37 guards are identical to '38s on the face, but due to the bumper being upside down, the concave inner pattern is different '37 to '38.

Re: Holland, Michigan flathead. C- List

A ring ridge is the topmost area of a cylinder bore that remains free from wear caused by the top piston ring, which becomes more pronounced as the engine wears. A seat-of-the-pants judgement of...

Re: Edelbrock Slingshot air flow imbalance

There might well be other causes, but I'd guess that the 51 PV provides more fuel, thereby less vaccuum. Just a guess, I'm not a dual carb guy.

Re: 35 convertible sedan electrical harnesses

Dialectric grease is good, but has a drawback when used on push-on connections that may be a bit loose. It is non-conductive, and acts as an insulator, therefore, consider as an option, remove the...

Re: '40 Mercury rear end

The ring/pinion will survive, and with any luck at all, housing will also survive, but sounds like the axle bit the dust. KRW puller did it's job, which was to release the drum from the axle. Beyond...

Re: 1941 cooling

A cleaning of the cooling system is always a good idea, but as you haven't reported boil -over or losing coolant, I see no imperative that it must be done just now. When you do it, though, be sure to...
