It would have been nice if it had had a longer head bolt so the head nut would stay tight and to remove the one that holds the clamp down.

Thank you all for the information, I made a driver on my lathe and pushed out the bushings. The first one I tried didn't turn out as the top bushing was moving good down to the bottom one, the next...

Distributor Bushings
Is there a easy way to remove the original distributor bushings in the housing.
Also the best way to keep them from collapsing? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Checking spare Distributor
Retarding the spark when starting engine was fine but when I went over half the travel advancing the spark the engine wanted to cut out. Any suggestions to the problem?
