Re: Oil Extractor
I used a Mityvac for 4 years after the drain plug solder ring weld failed and couldn't get the drain plug out. A medical issue kept me from doing a permanent repair until this year. The smallest hose...

Re: Oil pan plug repair/replace
Hmmm, was thinking same thing.....can't easily come out. And the insert threads aren't damaged, just can't get the drain plug out. Wondering now as nkaminar noted it might be better to get the...

Re: Gas rust
Has anybody tried the 6% vinegar for 2-3 days? The motorcycle world uses this quite frequently. 2-3 days industrial vinegar, flush with water, spray and pour lots of WD40 at it repeatedly to suck up...

Re: backfire
Switch your coil to a known coil and make sure coil to distributor wire is all the way inserted. I had a coil that would run fine then after a few minutes driving backfire and stop. Once cooled off,...

Re: Tube Metal Valve Stem Installation?
Good luck with it. I have to do this someday soon too but had read about recent inner tube quality. Hopefully your tubes will be perfect and encourage more of us to do this step.
